RIP Jay Adams - VENICE ORIGINAL. I shot this for Risen Magazine some years back. The 1st time I seen jay was in 79' or 80' at Marina Del Rey Skate Park. I was skating in the lower key hole and him and the rest of the Dogtown boyz were tearing up the Dogbowl. He was already a legend then!!! me and Yone did a show at the Fifty @4 S.F. gallery called "show me your heart"
robin came by and bought some art work, he was a big supporter of the arts along with benefits for cancer, i shot this photo of him on stage at a Livestrong Benefit. He went several times to the middle east to support the troops. i know he bought some of my shirts through out the years as well as some joker brand as you can see here. he was one of the BEST to EVER do it, he will be missed but never forgotten. Studios, he did the lay out 2 of my books 1979 for Adidas and L.A. Woman for Drago Publishing as well as designs for Joker Brand and the "Righteous Kill" movie poster campaign, to name a few.
